M.Sc. (Econ.), M.Soc.Sc, M.A. Otto Kyyrönen is responsible for UTAK’s macroeconomic policy work in cooperation with the Executive Director.

Before joining UTAK, Kyyrönen served as Chief Economist at SOSTE Finnish Federation for Social Affairs and Health. Kyyrönen holds Master’s degrees in Economics from Sorbonne University in Paris and from the Berlin School of Economics and Law, a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Jyväskylä, and a Master’s degree in Philosophy from Tampere University.

Kyyrönen’s research interests include public finances, income distribution, growth models, labor markets and policy evaluations.
