Bianka Mey

Bianka Mey is a data-oriented economist and postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Macroeconomics at Chemnitz University of Technology, where she contributes to research projects and teaches international Bachelor’s and Master’s courses in Macroeconomics and Empirical Economics.

With over five years of experience in applied (micro)econometrics, her research focuses on the Economics of Inequality and Gender, Energy Economics, Philanthropy (Volunteering), Meta-Analysis, and Open Science. Her most recent project is a comprehensive, pre-registered meta-analysis examining the price elasticity of demand for heating and cooling energy.
