Francesco Zezza is a macroeconomist specialising in Fiscal and Monetary Policy and Stock-Flow Consistent modelling. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Economics and Law of Sapienza University of Rome and Research Associate at the Levy Economics Institute of Bard College.
In the context of the EMPN, his research focuses on fiscal policy and public debt sustainability, energy and trade vulnerability, and territorial and structural divides, at both the Italian and European level.
He holds a Ph.D. (Doctor Europaeus) in Economics from the University of Siena, and an MA in Political Economy from Kingston University of London. His research has been published in international peer-reviewed journals, including Economic Modelling, Regional Studies, Papers in Regional Science, Metroeconomica, Journal of Industrial and Business Economics, European Journal of Economics and Economic Policy: Interventions, among others.
